I try to keep my base recipes as simple as possible. This way, you can always add or pair your meal with sides and other goodies! Low Sodium Tacos is an easy go to. Its quick and delicious. Here are my simple Low Sodium Tacos!

Ingredients:

  • 1 LBS of ground been, chicken, or turkey (265 mg- 435mg depending on meat)
  • 1 package of Mrs Wages Salt Free Taco Season (0mg)
  • Lettuce (0 mg)
  • Onion (0mg)
  • 1 Package corn tortilla’s (15mg per tortilla)
  • Shredded Swiss Cheese (35mg)
  • Cilantro (0mg)
  • Tomato (0mg)
  • Sour Cream (I prefer low fat) (45mg tbsp)

Recipe

In a large skillet add your ground meat. Cook on medium until completely browned. While meat is cooking, cut up your veggies! Of course you can use any other fresh veggie you like or not use some of what I have listed! These are just the way we make ours! In another pan, warm your corn tortilla. You can also add a small bit of oil and fry them. This gives the tortilla a much different texture! When you meat is browned, drain the grease off. Add 1 cup of water to the meat and add in your Mrs Wages seasoning. STIR! Once everything is done assemble and eat! Enjoy! Hit me up if you have great recipes to share!
